I highly recommend saving up for a visit and then taking your time once you get there to take advantage of everything they have to offer.

I went in November 2016 went it was fairly new and returned again in December 2017 because I enjoyed it so much the first time, and I wanted to get the "ChristmasTime" experience. Everything here is high-class from the exhibits to the use of technology to the staff and customer service.

The Ark Encounter is one the absolute best museums. I found it to be a better museum experience than any natural history museum that I have every visited. It is packed full of scientific facts and insights and support the Biblical world view. It is beautifully well constructed and designed as well. The graphics, art work, animal reproductions, and wood work are all top notch! The layout and flow of the museum is logical and well thought out. The exhibits and videos will capture the attention of young children and adults alike. Of course, all of this is contained in a life size replica of Noah's Ark. Taking in this massive structure will not only aid your understanding of the Biblical narrative but also boost your faith in unexpected ways! (1 Corinthians 1:18-19)

They have exhibits that cater to the interests of people of all ages, so it's a great place to bring children to learn. The ark itself is easy to navigate with central ramps that lead to all the levels.

When they present facts, they tell you so, and when they present information based on imagination, they openly disclose that as well. The main presentation is strongly rooted in Scripture and observational science, so they make a convincing case for the truth of Scripture, the worldwide flood, and the life-saving message of the Gospel.

I thought the workmanship and attention to detail was spectacular! I enjoyed the display of facts given in both Creation and evolution. I'm a Christian and I loved how vividly the day to day life of Noah and his family was portrayed. I only wish they're we're a little less people so I could spend more time reading everything. But I still really enjoyed my experience and everything was just beautiful inside and out. The lights everywhere was an added bonus coming at Christmas.

The price of admission and parking seems a little high, but that money goes directly into maintaining the high-tech facilities, paying the staff (some of them; some of them are volunteers), and adding new exhibits. They added a lot more between my two visits, and they still have more planned for the future that they have already designed and broken ground for.

I planned a trip to visit the arc encounter because I'd heard lots of great things about it from several coworkers. The fact that it was located at about the half way point between my home in Ohio and my daughters in Tennessee made it a great place to meet for a weekend trip. First I'd like to say that pictures of the arc simply don't do justice, it's huge. Once inside the woodwork is gorgeous and all three levels are filled with top notch displays and exhibits. There are even some live animals inside and a small zoo area outside which was pleasant to stroll around in. Plan a full day and lots of walking to see it all. Food at the restaurant was buffet style so don't expect gourmet meals and they do have a package deal to eat twice which can save some money. We had lunch and dinner. Well worth the trip and admission cost.

The ride to the ark was quick. The entrance was quick and the workers were great. There's so much to see and learn and when you want to sit for a break they have shows that you can watch. The goats were so friendly, yes, obviously used to people. Many photo opportunities. We also ate food outside and it was delicious. I had an amazing experience being there and would go again

Visiting during Christmas season is highly recommended because the grounds are beautifully-decorated, especially at night, and the laser show they did on the side of the Ark was extremely well-done.
