This hotel may mot be a 5 star hotel but I rate this a 5. The staff was very friendly and not rude. The rooms were clean and organized. The beds like most hotels were a little bit firm for my likening. The best part was the breakfast, the food was hot and was very good. There was plenty to choose from, you won't go hungry. I recommend this hotel to anyone and we are planing another trip back to this location in an other date and we are going to stay here again.
'Breakfast' consists of simple quick cold items such as breakfast cereals, yogurt and cups of fruit. But considering the price, everything was ok.
This location turned out to be convenient with easy freeway access and close to popular attractions. The rooms could use remodeling, but the staff is friendly and they have complimentary breakfast which features biscuits and sausage gravy. Not the healthiest choice, but they also have hard boiled eggs, fruit, and yogurt, along with excellent coffee.
I stayed in this motel for 3 nights; it is right across the street from the Ark Encounter and directly off the I-75 exit. It could not be more convenient or accommodating. The room was excellent, clean, warm, and very comfortable. The breakfast served in the morning is second to none!!! It was probably the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a motel that was included in the price. Well worth the stay and the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The Ark is a short walking distance so if you stay at the motel, you can also avoid the $10 parking fee for the Ark and the exercise is good to get you ready for a busy day at the Ark too. I would HIGHLY recommend this motel to everyone who is planning a trip to the Ark Encounter. Clean, convenient, hospitable, friendly, and helpful, I could ask for nothing more. The joy when traveling are the many wonderful experiences one may have during the trip; at times, some are unfavorable and those seem to overshadow the overall enjoyment. However, when you have a truly outstanding place to relax as well as have a remarkably amazing breakfast to start your day, you will not be disappointed.
Overall my experience at the Sunrise Inn was very pleasant. Staff were nice and accommodating. The facility appears in the process of a much needed updating.
Loved our room!! It must be one of the newly renovated ones because it was super cute with such charm. The only non renovated area was the bathroom, but it served its purpose. Really conveniently located to the Arc. We saved $10 in parking by walking. They provided us a good simple breakfast--bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit cups, Danish, biscuits, and coffee. The only con was the noise level. Since it is right near the highway you can hear traffic in the background. Wasn't terribly disturbing to us, but if you're noise sensitive, keep it in mind.
